Breast Augmentation
Full, shapely breasts help a woman feel feminine, confident and beautiful. Every woman can love her body. Breast enhancement increases the size, shape, and curve of a woman’s bust line.
There are several methods of performing breast enhancement; beginning with the most common these are Inframammary, Periareolar, and Transaxillary. Transumbilical and Transabdominoplasty are much less common.
The implant itself can be placed in several places. Subglandular is between the breast tissue and the pectoralis muscle. Subfasical is planted in almost the same position, but is underneat the fascia of the pectoralis muscle. Subpectoral is placed underneath the pectoralis major muscle and is the most common form of the procedure in North America.
Abdominoplasty
Also known as the Tummy Tuck, Abdominoplasty is designed to tighten the muscle of the abdomen, removing fat from above the muscle and under the skin, and tighten and smooth extra skin on the abdomen. A Tummy Tuck is different for each patient fitting their needs in terms of body fat, muscle and skin.
The results of a tummy tuck are technically permanent, yet the positive outcome can be greatly diminished by significant fluctuations in one's weight. Individuals who are planning on significant weight loss or women who may become pregnant may be advised to postpone an Abdominoplast.
A Tummy Tuck is very specific to the individual, and will only be rewarding the patient if it's their desire and not another's.
Blepharoplasty
Cosmetic Eyelid surgery, known as blepharoplasty, is the surgical procedure to improve the appearance of the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both, returning firmness to the tissue around the eyes and helping you look more rested and alert. Eyelid surgery may be used to treat loose or sagging skin, excess skin, excess fatty tissue, bags under the eyes, droopiness in the lower eyelids, and excess wrinkles on the lower eyelid.
To modify the upper eyelid the surgeon will make an incision within the normal crease of the upper eyelid. An incision below the lash line allows excess skin to be removed from the lower eyelid. Laser resurfacing may also be used.
